Staff Highlight: Favorite Holiday Traditions

Puppy Present"Every year it's my job to buy fun little things for the Christmas stockings. A few years ago I bought a Christmas stocking for our dog and now every year I put a robotic or remote control noise making toy inside-- and every year the dog gets scared and runs and jumps in the lap of my wife. I love to torment that little pup." ~Steve

"Being from a large Catholic family my favorite tradition is getting together on Christmas Eve with all my extended family on my mothers side.  Ever since I was a baby we would all gather at my Grandparents house and exchange gifts, eat great food and attend midnight mass.  Even though my grandparents are no longer here we still continue the tradition with all 38 of us and we rotate whose house hosts the get together!"

"Every year, the friday before Christmas, my family gets together to make homemade pizzas. We enjoy shaping and decorating them like stockings, ornaments, candy canes, or anything festive. It's fun and delicious!" ~ Rebekkah

When I was a kid my brother went away to college, so we rarely saw each other throughout the year.  For Christmas, one of my gifts from my Mom would always be the latest version of Zelda on Nintendo64.  My brother and I would stay up all night together playing my brand new game.  Fighting all of the "bad guys" in the wee hours of the morning helped my brother and I develop the unbreakable bond we still have to this day."
